Art to Inhabit

Morisqueta means gesture, grimace. A spontaneous expression, the way the body speaks before the mind does. That is where everything we do begins.

Its creator, Isabel Mendoza, Venezuelan and based in Madrid, seeks to create pieces for the home with an artistic calling, bringing her imagination into everyday life through shape, color and texture.

Each collection is born from an emotion and translated into pieces made to be touched, felt and lived with.

We understand home as something built slowly, through the objects we choose to keep and the stories that come to inhabit them. Pieces that live alongside us, change with the space and, over time, become part of the way we live.

Because a home is also built this way: with the things we choose to make our own.

Sustainability

We believe in a slower way of creating, where every piece has a reason to exist.

We work in small batches and, in many cases, made to order, avoiding overproduction. We choose our materials carefully, seeking a balance between quality, feel, durability and the needs of each design.

Our pieces pass through the hands of artisans and specialized workshops, respecting the processes, the knowledge and the time each one requires.

For Morisqueta, sustainability also means creating to last: pieces designed beyond a single season, to accompany us for years and keep finding their place in our spaces.
